your impact | Fostering Talent

Our Emerging Leaders took part in a unique ‘special forces’ style training. Led by professionals from the field, they faced physical and mental challenges designed to simulate high-stress decision-making. The clock was ticking; the pressure was on—and they had to lead. Through these drills, they experienced firsthand the power of ownership, collaboration, trust, discipline, and communication. It was tough. It was transformative. And it mirrored the dynamic environment we work in every day. Want to see what that looked like?

Leadership under pressure

Currently, around 50 colleagues participate in one of our talent programmes: an Emerging Leader Programme for future Senior Managers and Directors, and a Future Executive Programme for our next generation of top leadership.

Each of them has completed a 360-degree feedback process based on our leadership dimensions, helping to identify key development areas. From there, we create tailored development plans, including internal mentoring and external coaching.

But it’s not just about individual growth. We bring our talents together for joint activities that build strong networks and offer direct access to senior leadership. These sessions provide valuable insights into our strategy and culture—and spark meaningful conversations with our leadership team.

We also challenge our talents with real-life business cases and personal development tasks that push them outside their comfort zone. It’s all about discovering their strengths, learning to lead under pressure, and growing into confident, capable leaders.

At Faber Group, we invest in learning and development of our employees. This includes a programme in which we identify and develop talents throughout our organization, who have the potential to become the next generation leaders of Faber Group.
