your impact | Your future colleagues

Want to know what it is like to work at vPOOL? Who could give you a better impression of the atmosphere and possibilities than our colleagues.

Verena joined the Customer Service Team at vPOOL in July 2025. She had previously interacted with a Key Account Manager from vPOOL whose authentic and professional manner left a strong impression. That experience reinforced her desire to work in an environment that aligns more with her personal values.

From the beginning, the conditions at vPOOL were a great match. Living over three hours away, Verena works almost entirely from home and visits the office once a month for a week. These visits are used for professional exchange and activities after work, which strengthen the team spirit. She values the trust placed in her from day one. While virtual collaboration can’t fully replace in-person contact, respectful and appreciative communication fosters a sense of connection. Modern tools, clear processes, and ongoing digitalization support structured and efficient work.

Verena especially appreciates the helpfulness of her colleagues – both professionally and organisationally. One standout memory is the application process: communication was transparent and respectful, with regular updates from HR and her future manager. Being invited to the summer party before her official start date showed her how much appreciation and team spirit are lived at vPOOL. The internal team event was another highlight, helping her get to know her colleagues better and feel even more connected.

Denny has been working as Expert Logistic Operations & Customer Care at vPOOL since December 2024. From the start, he was impressed by the company’s modern, digital, and sustainable approach, as well as its warm and dynamic culture. His typical day begins with organising logistics processes. Communication with customers and partners happens mainly via email and phone. Flexibility is essential, as each day brings new challenges - making his role both varied and exciting.

A key benefit of his position is the flex office setup: Denny works mostly remotely from the Ruhrgebiet and uses the sister company PAKi’s office in Ennepetal once a week. This arrangement gives him autonomy and flexibility, allowing him to balance work with personal interests, like caring for his pets. Regular team communication through various channels ensures smooth coordination and a strong team spirit. The connection with PAKi colleagues also adds value: the modern workspace and friendly atmosphere support productivity and collaboration.

Once a month, Denny spends a week at the vPOOL office. The familiar hotel in Rothenburg and the peaceful surroundings offer a pleasant change of pace. Team dinners have become a valued tradition. To Denny, flexible working is not just a concept — it’s a real success factor that combines a modern working culture with individual freedom.

Ela joined the vPOOL team in June 2024, starting in Customer Service Support. There, she gained valuable insights into internal processes and developed a strong understanding of the target group. This experience provided her with a solid foundation, but the desire to develop further and contribute her creativity grew stronger.

In May 2025, Ela transitioned to the Marketing team as a Junior Expert Marketing – an opportunity she is truly grateful for. This new role opens fresh new subject areas, allows her to expand her skills, and supports her personal development. She was especially impressed by the support from HR and her supervisor, who guided her through this transition. Their trust made the change smoother and inspired her to embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.

Her daily work in marketing is dynamic and varied. Alongside routine tasks, special projects bring exciting new challenges. Ela especially values the close collaboration with other departments and entities within the Faber Group.

What Ela appreciates most about vPOOL is the combination of team spirit, flexibility, and genuine connection. Remote work options, flat hierarchies, and numerous benefits contribute to a healthy work-life balance. A personal highlight: she’s allowed to bring her dog – a gesture that makes her day more relaxed and reflects the trust-based culture at vPOOL. She especially enjoys team events like company celebrations, which strengthen bonds and make vPOOL more than just a workplace.
