Vaibhav Kuletha,
PRS Commercial Account Manager
True satisfaction at work comes when you connect your daily actions to a bigger purpose.
Vaibhav thrives on building long-term relationships with customers and colleagues. He enjoys the international scope of his role and values the freedom to adapt solutions to every unique situation. His curiosity about people and cultures drives him to connect across regions and industries. It enables him not only to deliver value for customers, but also to inspire change and help others see the bigger impact of pooling in petrochemicals.
‘Pooling in
petrochemicals
can change
the way an entire
industry works’
“For me, carrying impact is about contributing to the bigger change in our industry. The petrochemical sector is one of the most resource-intensive in the world, but with pooling we can make a real difference. By ensuring more pallets are reused and by helping our customers embrace circularity, we take steps towards reducing emissions. I also see opportunities beyond Europe. Markets such as Asia or the United States could greatly benefit from pooling. Exploring these possibilities shows how PRS and Faber Group can continue to grow, while also contributing to a greener future. That is the kind of impact I want to be part of.”
And how do you feel you are carrying impact when it comes to the development of the company and the business?
“One of the things I value is the support for personal development. For example, I will soon start a leadership programme in Utrecht, which focuses on decision-making, crisis management and developing leadership skills. This shows that if you have the ambition to grow and contribute beyond your current role, Faber Group is there to support you. At the same time, I believe growth also comes from yourself. It takes effort and drive to keep moving forward.”
How does Faber Group offer you opportunities for personal development, learning and growth?
“Collaboration is at the heart of how we work. Within PRS I work closely with regional managers, operations, finance and development teams, each bringing essential input to customer management. With Faber Group there is room for even more alignment across divisions. Retail and petrochemicals may be different sectors, yet there are many opportunities to share best practices and present ourselves as one group, and we should continue building on those. Externally I collaborate daily with customers, depots and partners to ensure our pooling model works in practice.”
How do you collaborate to achieve results?
‘If you have
the ambition to grow, Faber Group is there to
support you’
“At the core of pooling is sustainability. The more pallets we recover and reuse, the fewer we need to produce, which directly reduces CO₂ emissions. One of my key objectives is to work with customers to improve their return performance. Moving from a 40% to 50% return rate closer to 70% or 80% has a huge impact on emissions. Regulations such as the PPWR are helping us, but we also need to change mindsets. Customers should see us not just as a pallet supplier but as a circular service provider. That shift makes a big contribution to Faber Group’s wider sustainability ambitions.”
And how does your job contribute to the sustainability ambitions of Faber Group?
“In this industry pallets are critical. Without them, there is no flow of goods. My role is about making sure our customers always have what they need, when they need it and that they see the added value of working with PRS. We do not just provide pallets. We provide a pooling system that is reliable, aligned with regulations such as the PPWR and tailored to customer requirements. That means we are not only delivering a product, but also supporting efficiency, compliance and long-term competitiveness.”
How does your job add value to the supply chain and to the business of customers?
‘We are not
just a pallet
supplier.
We are
a pooling
partner’
“What I enjoy most is the flexibility and international nature of the role. Every customer is unique, so there is no single formula. You need to adapt and think creatively. I appreciate that at PRS there is a flat way of working, where you have freedom to take responsibility and make an impact. For me, travelling, meeting people and having those conversations where we can co-create solutions is the part of the job that gives me the most energy.”
What do you like most about your job?
“My main responsibility is managing key accounts in the petrochemical sector, with customers such as LyondellBasell, Borealis and TotalEnergies. Every account is different, so we work with dedicated customer teams that include colleagues from operations, commercial and development. I lead these teams to ensure we meet customer needs, follow up on agreements and develop long-term partnerships. It is about being the first point of contact, making sure the collaboration runs smoothly and ensuring PRS is seen as a trusted service partner rather than just a pallet supplier.”
Can you tell us more about your main job responsibilities?
“I had already built up several years of experience in the petrochemical industry, working in the Middle East and the United States before moving to the Netherlands. While I enjoyed the work, I wanted to move into a business more aligned with sustainability. When I came across PRS through my network, I was intrigued by its pooling model and its connection to Faber Group. During the interviews I felt a strong match, not only with the role but also with the company’s international character and long history. That was the deciding factor for me to join PRS.”
How did you come to work at PRS and what made you choose this job or company?
Vaibhav has been Commercial Account Manager at PRS for the past one and a half years. He joined PRS in 2023 after an international career in the petrochemical sector across the Middle East, the United States and the Netherlands.
